A new video from The Intercept features left-wing “New York Communities for Change” protesters marching through the streets of New York City looking for presidential candidate and South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg, chanting “Wall Street Pete” as they went door to door at swanky establishments in the search for the rogue presidential candidate.
The Left-wing activists oppose Buttigieg’s previous work for the powerful McKinsey Consulting firm and his willingness to have fundraisers with Wall Street executives and McKinsey partners.
The protesters in the video appear to be led by a middle-aged man while holding signs displaying phrases such as “Where’s Wall Street Pete?” Some people dressed in “Where’s Waldo” attire, while some wore pots on their heads.
Protesters questioned doormen at New York City’s Plaza Hotel, upscale restaurants, police officers, and finally caught up with Buttigieg at the home of tech investor Kevin P. Ryan, who quickly jumped into a black SUV to avoid the demonstrators.
As Buttigieg hits the top of Iowa polls and jumps into frontrunner status, far-left candidates and supporters are now going after the South Bend mayor, looking to derail his bid for a more “progressive” option.
