Anti-Trump pollster Frank Luntz predicts major political fallout for NY AG

Pollster Frank Luntz issued a stark caution to far-left Democrat New York Attorney General Letitia James during a CNN segment regarding the political repercussions of potentially seizing 45th President Donald Trump’s assets.

James is considering the seizure if Trump fails to post a $464 million bond by March 25, following a court order by Judge Arthur Engoron related to allegations of inflated asset values for better loan terms.

Luntz emphasized the potential for significant political fallout, stating, “If the attorney general starts to take his homes away, starts to seize his assets, it’s all gonna be on camera… You’re going to create the biggest victimhood of 2024 and you’re going to elect Donald Trump.”

He further suggested that such actions could inadvertently boost Trump’s popularity, drawing a parallel to how Trump’s poll numbers have previously risen in the face of legal challenges. Luntz pointedly addressed James through the camera, warning against politicizing the issue, which he believes could backfire spectacularly.

The lawsuit led by James accuses the Trump Organization of fraudulent activities, initially seeking $250 million in damages, which was later increased to $370 million. Trump was ordered to pay $350 million in damages in a February ruling by Engoron.

The proceedings have not been without controversy, with James facing criticism for her public remarks about the case, including a tweet detailing the daily interest in Trump’s judgment, which some, like CNN legal analyst Elie Honig, have labeled as unprofessional and akin to “gloating.”

These developments have sparked a variety of responses, including negative reactions during a New York City Fire Department event where James was booed and subsequent actions taken against FDNY staff members who expressed their dissent.

  1. There is somewhere I read or heard that Ms. James was foreclosed upon in 2010. Could this be a vendetta against the Trump organization because of her foreclosure? There are a lot more personal reason for Ms. James seeking Trumps properties besides hate, malice, vengeance etc. This will not end well for Ms. James and the wicked looking Judge. It has not ended well for Ms. Willis either.

Like Trump or not you can see the disparity in equality between Trump and Biden as far as the judicial system is concerned. My concerns is this could become a practice without merit because someone doesn’t like you . I am seeing darkness befall our great Country. Our forefathers are turning in their graves in what is happening to One Nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
