President Trump’s sister passes away

Maryanne Trump Barry, the eldest sister of President Donald Trump, has died at the age of 86, as reported by multiple sources. The news of her passing emerged on Monday, with reports indicating that she was found in her Upper East Side Manhattan home, responding to a call for someone in cardiac arrest around 4 a.m.

Barry, an accomplished appellate lawyer, began her judicial career when she was appointed as a federal judge in New Jersey by President Ronald Reagan in 1983. Later, in 1999, she received another appointment, this time to the U.S. Court of Appeals in New Jersey, from President Bill Clinton.

In 2019, Maryanne Trump Barry retired from the bench.

Maryanne Trump Barry’s passing marks the third sibling of Donald Trump to have died. Robert Trump, the former president’s younger brother, passed away in 2020 at the age of 71, and Fred Trump Jr. died in 1981 at the age of 42.

The Hill has sought comment from the Trump campaign, but as of now, there has been no official response.
