Fox News clobbers leftist group over leaked Tucker Carlson videos

On Friday, it was reported that Fox News had sent a cease and desist letter to Media Matters, a left-wing opposition research group that has been leaking unaired footage of Tucker Carlson, in an apparent attempt to besmirch his good name.

The television network, which fired the former hit hot of Tucker Carlson Tonight, wrote, “That unaired footage is Fox’s confidential intellectual property; Fox did not consent to its distribution or publication; and Fox does not consent to its further distribution or publication.”

Fox News’ attorneys say the leaked footage was obtained by Media Matters “without Fox’s authorization” and demanded it “cease and desist from distribution, publication, and misuse of Fox’s misappropriated proprietary footage, which you are now on notice was unlawfully obtained.”

The Hill reported, “Over the past several days, Media Matters has published a series of videos of Carlson, who was ousted from his show on Fox, making sexist and crude comments about women and complaining about the network on the set of his wildly popular show.”

Amid the leaked footage, Tucker Carlson fans have come out to say the candid footage of the media titan makes them like the TV star that much more.

  1. And nothing said about how Media Matters obtained the videos? Somebody at Fox gave it to them.

  2. Too bad, so sad! We still love Tucker! We will go where he goes. The leaked stuff just makes us like him more!
