CONFIRMED: Ilhan Omar praised Allah… in a Catholic Church

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) posted a video showing her reading an Islamic prayer from the Quran. She spoke in front of what can now be confirmed to be St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Washington, D.C.

The strange video comes out just months after Omar went through a divorce due to her adultery

Omar read a Quran passage, praising Allah in front of the congregation, saying:

“Allah, put courage into my heart, and take away all that may hinder me in serving you. Free my tongue to proclaim your goodness, that all may understand me.

Give me friends to advise and help me, that by working together our efforts may bear abundant fruit. And, above all, let me constantly remember that my actions are worthless unless they are guided by your hand.

Allah, may everything that I do start well and finish well. Sustain me with your power. And in your power let me drive away (all falsehood, ensuring that truth may always triumph).”

In the description of Omar’s tweet, she wrote, “Alhamdullilah for the opportunity to serve my constituents, to care for my children and have a wonderful love in my life. This is a prayer a read on the start of Congress and feel grounded in its blessings. Thank you all for standing with me and for our progressive movement!”

The Daily Trumplican has reached out to St. Peter’s Catholic Church and confirmed that Omar did, indeed speak at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, but not in front of the Church’s congregation, and the Blessed Sacrament was relocated during the interfaith service where Omar spoke.

A statement from the church reads, “In January 2019, St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. provided the venue for the opening prayer service for the House of Representatives of the 116th Congress.  As one of the larger sacred spaces on the Hill, and in such close proximity to the U.S. Capitol, St. Peter’s has been a traditional site for the bi-annual prayer gathering. The Blessed Sacrament is relocated outside of the church during this interfaith prayer service, which is sponsored by the Chaplain’s Office of the House of Representatives, and all House Members, staffers and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend.  As a member of Congress, Rep. Ilhan Omar, along with other Members and clerics of other faiths, delivered a prayer during the service. St. Peter’s is happy to host this prayer service where God’s blessing is beseeched for the important work of our Congress.”

    1. I also find it repulsive. Even the higher ups in the Church are caving in to the musli, scum.

    1. I am Catholic and today is the first day of Advent. All Catholic Churches put up purple banners and the Advent wreath during the first 4 weeks of Advent. Purple vestments are worn by the priest and deacon. No poinsettias are ever on the altar this early. Even the altar table is not the sort used in Catholic Churches. This cannot be a Catholic Church as stated. It must be doctored to appear as one. I am offended that they are using a Catholic Church in such a way.

      1. Jennifer McCarthy

That is exactly what I thought, Jean O’Boyle. I don’t know what or where this is, but it was not at a Catholic Church this weekend.

  1. So if we went into a mosque and proclaimed our love for our Lord Jesus Christ, would th at be ok?? That we serve one God in these United States, would that be ok. Or would they kill us??
    This is not ok!!

  2. Pretty sad that someone can not respect others beliefs and religion! What would happen if I went to pray with the Muslim and I pray out loud the Our Father and Hail Mary?

  3. ……… The whole focus of her Quranic prayer was to satanic allah about her and her wishes. The congregation pathetically just sat there and did nothing. Catholic churches are consecrated in the name of Jesus and what his life, death and resurrection did for all of us the believers…. Followers of the evil Islamic ideology should never be allowed to promote their cult in a Catholic Church.
