Nancy Pelosi questions House Republicans’ patriotism in unhinged rant

On Tuesday night, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) appeared on Fox News’ “Hannity” to discuss the Democrats’ closed-door hearings spearheaded by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) to find evidence of alleged wrongdoing by President Trump regarding Ukraine.

According to Nunez, during the testimony of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who claims to have been on the July telephone call with President Trump and Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Schiff repeatedly interrupted Republicans from asking basic questions, and “interrupt [them] continually to coach the witness, to decide… what [they are] going to be able to ask the witness.”

On Thursday, the House of Representatives is expected to vote on a resolution formalizing the impeachment inquiry, in a last-ditch effort at transparency, after weeks of Democrats’ scheming behind the scenes, as noted by Reps. Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan (R-OH).

In a veiled jab at Republicans on Wednesday morning, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi took to Twitter to air her dirty laundry about Republicans, writing “We’ve learned so much about Trump’s months-long campaign to pressure Ukraine because military veterans & his own national security aides stood up to tell the truth. They put their country ahead of everything else. It’s not too late for Republicans in Congress to do the same.”

The military veteran Pelosi is referring to is Col. Vindman, who claimed he was on the President’s phone call. It appears Pelosi is implying that if Republicans don’t vote for the continuation of the impeachment inquiry, they are not putting their “country ahead of everything else.”
