According to The New York Times, the mobile unit will offer medication abortions on both days, while vasectomies will be available only on Monday. Due to high demand, a waiting list has already been formed for vasectomy appointments. 

Dr. Colleen McNicholas, chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, highlighted the significance of this initiative, noting, “There are going to be people traveling to Chicago from all over the country. And I think we should be doing what we can as health care providers to show what the impact of good policy and bad policy is.”

In addition to these services, another group, Americans for Contraception, plans to display an 18-foot-tall inflatable IUD named “Freeda Womb.” The mobile unit’s services will be provided on a sliding fee scale, allowing patients to pay what they can. Appointment reservations only require basic personal information, ensuring easy access to the services.

In response to the claims, Leavitt told the Daily Caller, “Let’s be clear: President Trump will be on the debate stage THREE times with Fox News, ABC, and NBC/Telemundo. Similarly, Senator Vance will face Tim Walz in two debates, on September 18 with CNN and October 1 with CBS. If Harris and Walz don’t show up, an empty podium can stand in their place, demonstrating their weakness to the American people.”

The Harris campaign’s statement suggested that if Trump participated in a debate on September 10, there would be an additional opportunity to see him and Harris debate in October. However, Leavitt countered that no October debate has been proposed. “There’s been no proposal from a network for an October debate. They’re just throwing that out there needlessly,” she said.

Leavitt further criticized the Harris campaign for its handling of debate negotiations. “President Trump committed to three debates. Kamala should commit to the same three debates. Both campaigns received the same debate invitations from the networks,” Leavitt stated.
