The Democratic Party’s identity crisis has spilled into full public view as left-wing firebrand Bernie Sanders lashed out at Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin for daring to challenge his favorite buzzword: oligarchy. Appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, Sanders sneered, “The American people are not as dumb as Ms. Slotkin thinks they are,” adding fuel to a growing civil war among Democrats following President Trump’s decisive reelection and Republican victories in both chambers of Congress.

Slotkin, a more centrist Democrat trying desperately to keep her party tethered to reality, recently told Politico that calling America an “oligarchy” doesn’t resonate with average voters. In other words, she’s concerned about optics. Sanders, of course, doubled down on his doom-and-gloom talking points, insisting Americans “understand very well when the top 1 percent owns more wealth than the bottom 90 percent.”

It’s classic Bernie: If you don’t buy into his economic hysteria, you must think the American people are stupid. But the real story here isn’t about whether the U.S. is an oligarchy — it’s about a Democratic Party devouring itself in the wake of electoral defeat.

As Sanders and his ideological sidekick Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez march around the country on a so-called “Fighting Oligarchy Tour,” drawing crowds of self-proclaimed revolutionaries, moderate Democrats like Slotkin and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are trying to clean up the messaging dumpster fire. Walz recently told The Atlantic that Democrats should ditch elitist jargon like “oligarch” and “food insecurity” and instead just talk like normal people — say, calling it “hunger.”

It’s a message that’s unlikely to land with Sanders, who is too busy accusing billionaires like Elon Musk of masterminding the Trump administration, as if this were some Bond villain plot.

Amid the chaos, Sanders insisted, “The party is on the same page.” That’s a laughable claim. From Slotkin’s rebuke to Walz’s verbal eye-roll, it’s clear the only thing uniting Democrats is their inability to agree on anything — let alone how to take on Trump. The far-left has hijacked the party, and even some Democrats are starting to notice the ship is sinking.

For conservatives watching from the sidelines, the spectacle is delicious. The same party that spent years preaching unity and tolerance is now knee-deep in an ideological bloodbath. As Sanders rants about oligarchs and Slotkin tries to salvage what’s left of a relatable message, Republicans are back in power — and Democrats are too busy eating their own to do anything about it.

Let them fight.

Socialist U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is refusing to condemn far-left illegal alien activists who stalked Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) into a bathroom where they recorded and berated her. The same activists then stalked Sinema onto a plane and harassed her.

The Daily Wire reports:

“Sanders wanted the statement to urge Sinema to drop her opposition to prescription drug reform, as well as Biden’s $3.5 trillion” social spending bill, Axios reported. “An email exchange between Senate Democratic leadership aides, obtained by Axios, reveals Sanders withheld his name from a joint statement declaring protesters who followed Sinema into a bathroom — and filmed her while using the restroom — as ‘plainly inappropriate and unacceptable.’”

Sanders’ communications director Mike Casca indicated that the senator did not approve of the statement and responded to an aide for another senator who organized the statement, writing: “Sanders will not be signing, so please cut ‘Senate Democratic Leadership Team’ from headline.”

The report said that “Sinema’s orbit” has expressed frustration that her colleagues have not stood up for her. Democrat President Joe Biden responded to the incident by saying in part that it “happens to everybody” and that it’s “part of the process.”

Many Republicans have come to Sinema’s defense, including Utah’s Mike Lee, Texas’ Ted Cruz, Kentucky’s Rand Paul, among others.

Casey Mattox, an attorney, wrote on Twitter regarding Sanders, “Reminder that Sinema (and Manchin) continuing to caucus with Democrats is why Bernie Sanders is the Chair of the Senate Budget Committee instead of the ranking member.”

Despite Michelle Obama’s pleas for party unity in her Tuesday night address at the 2020 Democrat National Convention, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), or AOC, just about shattered those dreams in a minute, flat.

During her short time slot at the Democrat National Convention, AOC used her time to warn Joe Biden not to discount the socialist wing of the Democrat Party by refusing to utter the words “Joe Biden” in her speech. In her speech, she focused her short spot blasting “racial injustice, colonization, misogyny.” 

“I hereby second the nomination for Senator Bernard Sanders of Vermont for President of the United States of America,” Ocasio-Cortez said. 

In April, AOC pledged her support for Joe Biden after much reluctance once socialist Bernie Sanders dropped out of the race.

Shortly after 10:17 p.m., Joe Biden became the official nominee for the Democrat Party.

On Sunday, socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders sent out an email to his campaign list asking his supporters t give cash to the radical left-wing “Squad” comprised of terrorist sympathizers and environmental socialist Reps. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

The three members of the “Squad” endorsed Sanders for his failed run for president, where he gave into the Democrat Party establishment and endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden. 

The email reads, “Today I am asking you to support some extraordinary congresswomen — and important leaders of our movement — to ensure they can continue fighting for our values in Congress.”

“Let me be very clear: If we are serious about building a political revolution — and continuing our fight for economic justice, social justice, racial justice, and environmental justice — we need people like Alexandria, Ilhan, and Rashida representing our progressive values in Congress,” Sanders wrote.

The three socialists have massive opposition, as the far-left fringe of the Democrat Party is not exactly mainstream in America. Republicans and Democrats have challenged the socialist squad of women in all of their races.

On Tuesday, it was confirmed by CNBC that former President Barack H. Obama will endorse his former vice president, Joe Biden for his 2020 run for president.

The announcement comes after former presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT), dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Biden, working many supporters.

During the primary campaign, Biden said that he asked Obama “not to endorse” him.

“Whoever wins this nomination should win it on their own merit,” the former vice president said.

In February 2020, Obama sent the conservative hybrid PAC the “Committee to Defend the President” a cease and desist letter after the PAC aired an ad in South Carolina using the former president’s own words pointing out Biden’s terrible past with racial justice. 

Obama is expected to formally make the endorsement later Tuesday.

On Monday during a live stream, former Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders endorsed Joe Biden for the Democrat nomination for president.

During the live stream, Bernie told Biden, “we need you in the White House.”

He continued, “I’m asking every Democrat, I’m asking every independent, I’m asking a lot of Republicans to come together in this campaign to support your candidacy, which I endorse.” 

“If I am the nominee, which it looks like now you just made me, I am going to need you, not just to win the campaign, but to govern,” said Biden.

“It’s no great secret Joe that you and I have our differences, and we are not going to paper them over. That’s real,” Sanders said. “But I hope that these task forces will come together, utilizing the best minds and people in your campaign and in my campaign, to work out real solutions to these very, very important problems.”

Sanders previously endorsed failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in her run for president after a bitter primary putting him up against the Democrat Party establishment.

Amid socialist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ suspension of his presidential campaign, essentially guaranteeing former Vice President Joe Biden the Democrat nomination for president, Bernie-backer Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is not eating her words.

Previously in a New York Magazine interview, AOC bashed the former vice president, saying “oh, God,” at the prospect of him being selected as his party’s nominee for president.

In a January interview, AOC said, “In any other country, Joe Biden and I would not be in the same party, but in America, we are.” 

In the same breath, the freshman congresswoman lambasted the moderate wings of her party, of which she most likely classifies Biden in. She said, “And what people don’t realize is that there is a tea party of the left, but it’s on the right edges, the most conservative parts of the Democratic Party. So the Democratic Party has a role to play in this problem.”

On Monday, it was reported that AOC has not spoken to Biden since his apparent nomination, to which she explained party unity with Biden as “kind of vague, kumbaya, kind of term. Unity and unifying isn’t a feeling, it’s a process.”

On Wednesday, socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) was asked by a CNN reporter about the status of his campaign, and he reportedly lost his patience, telling him he’s “dealing with a f**king global crisis!”

He also said, “Right now I’m trying to do my best to make sure that we don’t have an economic meltdown and that people don’t die. Is that enough for you to keep me busy for today?”

The news comes after Sanders told the media he was going to “reassess” his campaign, raising many questions about his future in the 2020 Democrat race for president.

On Tuesday, socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders suffered a crippling defeat in Arizona, Florida, and Illinois, paving a clearer path forward for former Vice President Joe Biden to win the Democrat nomination for president.

The Biden campaign sent out a fundraising email on Wednesday touting the wins in the three primary states and selling bumper stickers reading “President Biden” with a photograph of the former Vice President looking somewhat confused. The photograph may be trying to show Biden looking serious, but he looks more like he’s lost his mom at the grocery store.

Although the stickers are advertised as “free,” they require a donation for people to receive the decal. 

The presumptive sticker mirrors Hillary Clinton’s 2016 run, where she repeatedly made statements appearing to seem as though she was entitled to the presidency, such as “Why aren’t I 50 points ahead?” and a former Bill Clinton advisor saying Hillary thinks “God put her on the Earth” to be president.

Socialist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has not yet dropped out of the 2020 race, despite conflicting reports.
