Colorado Supreme Court boots Trump from 2024 ballot

In a shocking move, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that 45th President Donald Trump is ineligible for the White House under the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause.

This decision, influenced by justices appointed by Democratic governors, has removed Trump from the state’s presidential primary ballot, setting the stage for a potential showdown in the nation’s highest court to determine the fate of the GOP front-runner’s candidacy.

For the first time in history, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment has been invoked to disqualify a presidential candidate, as stated in the court’s 4-3 decision. “A majority of the court holds that Trump is disqualified from holding the office of president under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment,” the decision declared.

The Colorado Supreme Court reversed a prior ruling by a district court judge, who acknowledged Trump’s role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack but hesitated to bar him from the ballot, citing uncertainty about whether the provision was intended to cover the presidency.

The court, recognizing the gravity of its decision, stayed the implementation until Jan. 4 or until the U.S. Supreme Court offered its ruling on the case.

Trump’s legal team, undeterred by this setback, has pledged to promptly appeal any disqualification to the U.S. Supreme Court, emphasizing the highest court’s pivotal role in determining constitutional matters.

As the legal battle unfolds, Trump and his supporters remain steadfast in their commitment to challenging what they perceive as an infringement on his right to participate in the democratic process.

    1. . . . agree with Sonia, too. As to your question, “What were they thinking or smoking . . . ?” Might that be another possible negative ramification of Colorado’s legal marijuana-friendly status? Just wonderin’.

  1. I wouldn’t have thought CO could be worse than NM but I guess it is; I think there was an effort to take Trump off the ballot here too but I believe that failed. In deeply corrupt NM, of all places….

  2. I would argue that transition took place when the stasi, I mean FBI, raided Mar a Lago. The dictator of New Mexico and her Socialist SOS are already considering this also.

  3. These alleged “judges” have taken a page out of Joe Stalin’s playbook, attempting to erase a person and their history. President Trump has not been convicted of any crime at all, much less the dimmoKKKraps whining “insurrection” but that time is fast approaching.

President Trump has not been convicted of any crime at all, much less the dimmoKKKraps whining “insurrection” but that time is fast approaching. The fbi, cia, atf and capitol police shills salted in the crowd (all the people who were actually violent) failed at their false flag “insurrection”. But don’t worry, as Captain John Parker told his militia on April 19, 1775 at Lexington Green – “Stand your ground – if they want a war, let it begin here.”
