After President Donald Trump dominated in a CNN-hosted town hall this week, his campaign is taking a victory lap over the feat, now selling t-shirts that say, “This is TNN,” resembling the CNN logo.
“President Trump’s CNN town hall was so masterful that many are now saying CNN should be renamed TNN – the Trump News Network,” wrote the Trump campaign on Twitter.
The campaign wrote on its website, “CNN was hoping to destroy President on live TV, but our favorite President took command of the town hall and emerged victorious.”
The Huffington Post whined about the town hall, writing in a hit piece, “The network received fierce criticism for allowing Trump to spew his lies on live television Wednesday in front of a supportive studio audience, with critics calling it a ‘disaster’ and ‘shameful.’”
With a minimum donation of $47 (signifying Trump being the 47th president when he wins in 2024), the campaign says it will send supporters the t-shirt.
