If this week couldn’t get any more outrageous, with Hollywood celebrities calling for the assassination of President Trump and liberals celebrating “International Pronouns Day,” now progressives are blaming Trump for long-time Congressman Elijah Cummings’ unexpected death this week at the age of 68.
CNN contributor and SiriusXM Progress show host Dean Obeidallah took to Twitter on Thursday to complain about President Trump’s previous criticisms of Cummings for not fixing the mess in his district during his long tenure in Congress.
But Obeidallah went one step further, actually blaming the President for Cummings’ death, saying “It’s garbage attacks like this by Trump on Rep Cummings that Twitter allowed on its platform that causes pain and even can make medical conditions worse by causing stress- and now it’s even worse given Rep Cummings has passed.”
The tweet also criticizes Twitter for not censoring President Trump on their platform, an idea which presidential candidate Kamala Harris has been peddling on the campaign trail for the last few weeks, in what seems to be an attempt at resuscitating her wilting campaign.
In the last Democrat presidential debate, Harris even tried to take on fellow progressives, including Elizabeth Warren, asking her why she won’t call for the censorship of Trump on the platform.
Despite Twitter saying they won’t throw the President off of Twitter, they have made threats to make his tweets “harder to find,” although the information Trump tweets are in the public interest, since he is the President of the United States.
