President Trump ROASTS Oscars: ‘Don’t be so politically correct and boring’

On Tuesday, President Donald J. Trump released an epic statement bashing the liberal Academy Awards (or Oscars) as too political and “boring.”

Here’s his statement:

What used to be called The Academy Awards, and now is called the “Oscars”—a far less important and elegant name—had the lowest Television Ratings in recorded history, even much lower than last year, which set another record low. If they keep with the current ridiculous formula, it will only get worse—if that’s possible. Go back 15 years, look at the formula they then used, change the name back to THE ACADEMY AWARDS, don’t be so politically correct and boring, and do it right. ALSO, BRING BACK A GREAT HOST. These television people spend all their time thinking about how to promote the Democrat Party, which is destroying our Country, and cancel Conservatives and Republicans. That formula certainly hasn’t worked very well for The Academy!

In 2020, Trump put the Oscars on blast over their Best Picture being a foreign film. He asked, “The winner is a movie from South Korea, what the hell was that all about?” He continued, “We got enough problems with South Korea with trade and on top of it, they give them the best movie of the year.”

“Was it good? I don’t know. I’m looking for, like – can we get like Gone With The Wind back, please?” Trump said then.

The Oscars had a massive ratings tumble this year, with only 10.4 million people tuning in to the awards show in the final numbers, which was a bit higher than the initial number released, which was reported as 9.85 million

In 2020, the Academy Awards got 23.6 million viewers while in 2019, the show got 29.6 million viewers, which shows the massive decline in the Oscars’ popularity. President Trump has previously attended the Oscars ceremony, such as in 2011.
