Pro-Trump Rep. Boebert rips gun-grabber to shreds: ‘Give your keyboard a rest, child’

On Thursday, it was announced by the acting D.C. Capitol Police Chief that he wants to install a “permanent fence” around the U.S. Capitol building, further barring the public from the “People’s House.”

Chief Yogananda Pittman said in a statement, “In light of recent events, I can unequivocally say that the vast improvements to the physical security infrastructure must be made to include permanent fencing, and the availability of ready, back-up forces in close proximity to the Capitol,”

But that announcement wasn’t good enough for some, including Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who claimed “the enemy is within,” referring to newly elected Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO). Bobert has been pushing for members of Congress to be allowed to carry firearms on the House floor.

When pushed on the statement, Pelosi said, “It means that we have members of Congress who want to bring guns on the floor and have threatened violence on other members of Congress.”

Later, former Parkland High School kid, David Hogg, who is a staunch gun-grabber, tried to chime in on the conversation, writing, “They can put up all the fencing around the capitol the real threats of @mtgreenee and @laurenboebert will still be inside until @GOPLeader takes a stand.”

But Boebert clapped back with a sharp rebuttal, writing, “David, please. We all saw how tough you were when questioned face to face. Give your keyboard a rest, child.”

Rep. Taylor Greene previously confronted Hogg on his anti-gun stance in 2018, nearly three years before being sworn into Congress, where she told him “Do you not know how to defend your stance?” Watch the video here.
