On Tuesday, warmongering descendent of former Vice President Dick Cheney, U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) announced her intention to vote for the socialist Democrats’ second impeachment witch hunt, this time by claiming President Donald J. Trump incited a riot on January 6 while speaking at a rally.
On the 6th, Cheney told Fox News, “What is important is to recognize we just had a violent mob assault the U.S. Capitol…. There is no question that the president formed the mob. The president incited the mob, the president addressed the mob. This is what America is not.”
Cheney, who has often been a thorn in the side of conservatism, has also been a war-monger like her father, Dick. She has repeatedly been against the Trump Administration’s attempts to bring home our troops from abroad, even teaming up with Democrats to keep costly wars hampering across the Middle East and the world.
On January 6, while addressing hundreds of thousands of American patriots who attended the rally on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., Trump blasted Cheney, saying, “We’ve got to get rid of the weak Congresspeople, the ones that aren’t any good. The Liz Cheneys of the world.”
In her bitterness, Cheney, who serves as the number 3 Republican in the U.S. House conference, now says she backs impeaching the duly elected President of the United States.
She released this statement on Tuesday:
“On January 6, 2021 a violent mob attacked the United States Capitol to obstruct the process of our democracy and stop the counting of presidential electoral votes. This insurrection caused injury, death and destruction in the most sacred space in our Republic.
“Much more will become clear in coming days and weeks, but what we know now is enough. The President of the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack. Everything that followed was his doing. None of this would have happened without the President. The President could have immediately and forcefully intervened to stop the violence. He did not. There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.
“I will vote to impeach the President.”
The President’s allies in the U.S. House quickly denounced Cheney’s statement. “She should not be serving this conference,” said Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ).
“She is weakening our conference at a key moment for personal political gain and is unfit to lead,” said Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT).
However, Liz Cheney’s allies on the Radical Left, namely Nancy Pelosi herself, applauded her for announcing the anti-Trump vote.
“Good for her for honoring her oath of office,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said. “Would that more Republicans would honor their oaths of office.”
The President has not spoken out publicly about Cheney’s defection, as Twitter and pretty much every major tech company has silenced his voice, despite him being the incumbent President of the United States.
