Amy Coney Barrett confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court

On Monday evening, shortly after 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, the U.S. Senate voted to confirm the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett of Indiana to serve as an associate justice on the U.S. Supreme court on a vote of 52-48.
