On Tuesday, provocateur and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones announced he is prepared to file a lawsuit “Alex Jones v. Donald Trump” if the President chooses to protect the country with an interstate travel ban from affected areas such as Washington state, where there is a massive outbreak of Coronavirus cases.
Jones claims that Trump’s action to limit travel between states is the “globalists” “maneuvering” him into the choice, and he claims the globalists will “trigger riots and other crises” if Trump does not enact an interstate travel ban to curb the flood of the virus.
Jones’ lawyer, Norm Pattis has drafted the proposed lawsuit, saying, “We will go immediately into a District of Columbia court and ask for injunctive declaratory relief….In other words, a ruling from a judge that the action is unlawful, and an order from the judge barring implementation of it. If that judge rejects our claim, we we’ll go to the D.C. Court of Appeals. If that court rejects our claim we will seek a hearing in the United States Supreme Court.”
The internet provocateur has also been peddling fake Coronavirus cures on his show, which have triggered multiple cease and desist letters from concerned parties.
