Kamala Harris endorses ‘kind and endlessly caring’ Joe Biden for president

On Sunday, former presidential candidate and harsh critic of former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Kampala Harris, offered up her endorsement. She said the 77-year-old would “speak to the best of who we are and challenges us to live up to our ideals” if elected.

“There is no one better prepared than Joe to steer our nation through these turbulent times, and restore truth, honor, and decency to the Oval Office. He is kind and endlessly caring, and he truly listens to the American people,” Harris said.

Harris and Biden fought it out during Democrat debates last summer, with Harris confronting Biden on his opposition to desegregation busing. Biden said he would consider her as a potential running mate after she dropped out of the race in December, saying she’d be in consideration for Attorney General or Vice President.

The endorsement will likely only hurt socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT), who is in a two-man race with Biden for the Democrat nomination. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), is also in the race, although she has only garnered a total of two delegates from the territory of American Samoa.
