While speaking at a Washington, DC bookstore, “Politics and Prose,” Obama’s former national security advisor Susan Rice made cheap shots at President Trump’s acting Director of National Intelligence, Richard Grenell.
Grenell, who serves as the American Ambassador to Germany, was tapped to temporarily fill the vacancy, making him the first openly-gay member of the President’s Cabinet in history.
Instead of celebrating the “diversity” of the cabinet, which is almost certainly what would have been done if Obama did the same thing, Susan Rice took personal jabs at Grenell.
She said, “The problem is that Rick Grenell is one of the most nasty [sic], dishonest people I’ve ever encountered. I’m not using this language lightly. He is a hack and a shill and that’s all he’s ever been.” She also accused Grenell of using the office to get PresidentTrump re-elected, saying, “He has been put in that job for one reason only, which is to turn the intelligence community into a tool for the President’s re-election.”
Rice is well-known for lying about the Obama Administration’s failure to protect American Ambassador Chris Stevens and four military personnel, Information Officer Sean Smith, and two CIA operatives, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, who were brutally slaughtered by radical Islamic terrorists in a 2012 Benghazi, Libya embassy attack. Rice blamed their deaths on an “internet video.”
