This week, a public feud lit up between former Bill Clinton adviser James Carville and socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT), with tensions rising.
Earlier in the week, Carville commented on Bernie’s socialist uprising as a “cult,” with Sanders returning jabs while talking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper, calling Carville a “political hack” who is part of the “establishment.”
But Carville didn’t take the jab laying down. He reportedly said, “I am a political hack! I am not an ideologue. I am not a purist. He thinks it’s a pejorative. I kinda like it!”
“At least I’m not a communist,” Carville added.
Bernie has not yet returned fire, but the “communist” remark seems to be a crippling blow to the socialist 78-year-old presidential candidate.
