On Wednesday, Sen. Willard “Mitt” Romney (RINO-UT) announced he will vote with radical Democrats to convict President Trump on one count of abuse of power, but acquit on obstruction of Congress.
In an interview with Chris Wallace of Fox News, Romney said, “the consequences will be extraordinary” for him, and he does believe President Trump should be removed from office.
In a speech on the Senate floor, Romney said, Putting my political biases aside,” his vote to convict is “an act of conviction.”
“Do what’s right, let the consequence follow,” said Romney, hiding behind his faith in his decision to convict.
President Trump’s Son, Don Jr. wrote on Twitter, “Mitt Romney is forever bitter that he will never be POTUS. He was too weak to beat the Democrats then so he’s joining them now. He’s now officially a member of the resistance & should be expelled from the @GOP.”
Romney is a traitor, how can he vote to convict when there is no crime.
