On Sunday, President Trump’s campaign spent over $10 million in Super Bowl ads, one that had been released prior, and a secret ad that aired during the first quarter of the game.
The now-unveiled ad features Alice Johnson, whose life sentence for nonviolent drug offenses was commuted by Trump in June 2018 after a criminal justice reform bill produced by the administration had been enacted.
“Politicians talk about criminal justice reform,” the ad states as audio of Johnson’s release is plays in the background. “President Trump got it done.”
Politico reported that Colin Rogero, a partner at Democrat ad agency 76 Words had good things to say about the ad. Rogero simply said, “Trump won the ad war,” meaning the President won the ad war against 2020 Democrat Michael Bloomberg, whose campaign spent $11 million on Super Bowl ads.
Once again, President Trump claims victory for his achievements, and his powerful Super Bowl ad will definitely be remembered.
