OFFICIAL NUMBERS: 22k+ Virginians rallied to support the Second Amendment, 1 arrest

UPDATE: A previous version of this article reported zero arrests, however, new reports show a single arrest. One 21-year-old woman was taken into custody for wearing a bandana over her face, as reported by Reuters.

On Monday, pro-gun advocates from all across Virginia and the country gathered in Richmond to tell Gov. Ralph Northam they do not support restrictions on their Second Amendment rights.

According to official numbers, 22,000 armed demonstrators rallied in defense of the 2nd Amendment at the event.
