WaPo ‘reporters’ celebrate after House impeaches Trump: ‘Merry Impeachmas’

On Thursday night, shortly after the House voted to impeach President Trump on party lines, with no Republicans voting for the resolution, Washington Post “reporters” celebrated the 3rd impeachment of a U.S. president with drinks and photos on social media.

Washington Post “Congress reporter” Rachel Bade posted a photograph showing all smiles from a gaggle of newspeople grinning ear to ear about the partisan vote.

Bade wrote, “Merry Impeachmas from the WaPo team!” She tagged fellow “reporters” Karoun Demirjian, Seung Min Kim, and Mike DeBonis.

Shortly after harsh backlash, Bade took the post down claiming it was “misinterpreted by some as an endorsement of some kind,” despite the inherent bias shown by posting the photo in the first place.

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham retweeted the now-deleted tweet, writing, “Fair & balanced journalism everyone. Democracy dies over chips & guac.”

  1. I think everyone should not subscribe to the Washington post. Since it is so liberal, let all the liberals subscribe. There is nothing important to the mid America population anyway. There are other publications you can subscribe to for the information you are looking for. Since the President Trump supporters are deplorable why should we support these radical publishers. STRIKE THEM.
