Democrats pass sham impeachment in party-line vote

On Wednesday, radical House Democrats voted to impeach President Donald J. Trump on a strictly partisan vote, with not a single Republican member deflecting to vote for impeachment.

The House successfully passed with a simple majority two articles of impeachment: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

The vote comes months after speedy hearings where Republican members were repeatedly shut down by Intelligence Committee Chairmen Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Judiciary Committee Jerrold Nadler (D-NY).

After failed attempts by Republicans to shut down the vote by adjournments and motions to table the impeachment resolution, Democrats finally went through with their partisan impeachment vote after approximately eight hours of heated debate.

Democrats reportedly cheered after the historic impeachment vote.

The final vote on the House floor only had two Democrat deflections: Reps. Collin Peterson (D-MN) and Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ). Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), voted “present.”
