On Thursday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared to try and influence the 2019 United Kingdom elections via Twitter.
The freshman representative tweeted out a video disparaging Prime Minister Boris Johnson and other Conservative Party leaders on the topic of “income inequality.” She said, “The only way we change is with a massive surge of *new* voters at the polls. UK, Vote!”
The Representative’s words appear to directly attempt to influence the election by urging her followers in the UK to vote.
This is a prime example of do as I say but not as I do Democratic ideology.
