Former Vice President Joe Biden may be giving the public a hint at who he’d choose to be his running mate if he clenches the 2020 Democrat nomination for president.
At an event in Iowa, when asked about his choice for vice president, he said, “I could start naming people but the press will think that’s who I picked,” before he rambled off a list of potential running mates.
His list included “the former assistant attorney general who got fired,” meaning Sally Yates; “the woman who should have been the governor of Georgia,” referring to Stacey Abrams; and “the two senators from the state of New Hampshire,” referring to Democrat U.S. Sens. Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan.
Multiple Hassan staffers have been indicted and jailed for a doxxing scandal during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, where private information on Majority Leader McConnell was leaked from Hassan’s office.
Sally Yates, a holdover from the Obama Administration, was fired by the Trump Administration after she refused to implement Trump’s ban on Islamic nations which pose a national security risk.
Stacey Abrams unsuccessfully ran for governor of Georgia and has been telling people she actually won the election for months, despite the fact that she lost to epic proportions against current Gov. Brian Kemp.
Senator Jeanne Shaheen has consistently been a Trump hater, as most Democrats in Congress have been, dissenting with his policy positions at every turn.
These four women would naturally be a help to Biden, who seems to barely be able to string a sentence together without a gaffe or fumbling on his words.
