On Monday, during a busy week of holiday festivities, including the reception of the White House Christmas tree and the annual turkey pardon, President Trump honored the hero dog “Conan” who help take down ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Conan was honored at the White House Rose Garden where President Trump said Conan is “a dog that is very, very special.”
Vice President Pence also honored the dog, as he snuggled up against his leg, showing his more friendly side.Conan was honored with a plaque and a medal, saying Conan is “the ultimate fighter.”
A reporter yelled out a question, “Melania: are you going to adopt the dog for Barron?” Melania chuckled as she walked back into the White House.
