On Thursday, former Vice President Joe Biden held a town hall in Greenwood, South Carolina, where he was confronted by a man who pressed him on immigration policies under President Obama.
Carlos Rojas, the protester, told Biden, “In 2008 I was a volunteer for Obama because I had hope and I believed in the promises to the immigrant community.” Rojas continued, “The fact is that over those eight years there were three million people who were deported and separated from their families.”
Instead of answering for Obama’s policies, Biden abruptly answered, “You should vote for Trump, you should vote for Trump.”
After being pressed by Rojas, Biden said, “I will not stop all deportations. If you commit a crime, that’s a felony.”
Under Obama’s first three years, 1.8 million people were deported, as reported by the Washington Post. Trump has only deported 800,000 people during his first three years in the presidency.
Biden’s apparent gaffe at his South Carolina town hall doesn’t seem like it will help him with the radical Democrat base, hell-bent on not deporting anyone and keeping open borders. They probably won’t take too kindly to Biden telling people to “vote for Trump” either.
Is it possible Biden is getting STUPIDER?
