During the fifth Democrat debate at the Tyler Perry Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, ten leading Democrats in the field took the stage to talk about issues, ranging from “climate change,” Medicare-for-all, and the right to kill unborn human babies through abortion.
When asked her stance on the life-and-death issue, Warren said she believes that “abortion rights are human rights” as well as “economic rights,” making the case that killing unborn children should remain legal because it will save women from the monetary costs of rearing children, despite the massive bioethical problem with that decision.
Warren’s comment is ironic, especially since abortion is the killing of unborn human life, depriving a human being of life. Yet, she calls abortion a “human right.”
When talking about pro-life Democrats, such as Louisiana’s Gov. John Bel Edwards, who signed a “Heartbeat Bill,” protecting unborn humans with a heartbeat (as early as 6 weeks), Warren claimed she didn’t want to “drive anyone out of the party.” Warren continued to say, “I have made clear what I think the Democratic Party stands for.”
Warren’s insensitive comment is just the latest to come out of the 2020 Democrat field for president, with fellow candidates, such as Pete Buttigieg, claiming the Bible says babies can be aborted up to their “up to their first breath.”
