On Friday, U.S. Attorney General William Barr addressed a lively room of conservative lawyers at the Federalist a Society, taking on the radical Democrats running their sham impeachment witch hunt while speaking.
“The pursuit of scores of investigations and an avalanche of subpoenas is meant to incapacitate” and “sabotage” the administration, said Barr.
Barr proclaimed, “In waging a scorched-earth, no-holds-barred war of Resistance against this administration, it is the Left that is engaged in a systematic shredding of norms and undermining the rule of law.”
He went on to blast the Democrats for trying to undo the will of the people, saying, “This is a very dangerous and indeed incendiary notion to import into the politics of a Democratic republic. The fact is, that, yes, while the president has certainly thrown out the traditional beltway playbook and punctilio, he was upfront about what he was going to do and the people decided that he was going to serve as president.”
Barr’s comments come the same day that former Ukrainian Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch testified under front of Congress, where Republican members were gagged by Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA), and Yovanovitch admitted that the Obama Administration coached her on answering questions about Joe Biden and Hunter Biden’s dealings.
