It appears more and more damning tweets are coming back to bite the Ukrainian “whistleblower’s” lawyer, Mark Zaid, after new disturbing statements have been unearthed, including one incriminating himself in a coup to take down President Trump.
Zaid wrote in January 2017, days after President Trump’s inauguration, “#coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion. #impeachment will follow ultimately. #lawyers.”
Now, a newly-unearthed 2018 tweet shows a sickening statement from Zaid, one in response to a Slate article about a former White House official who got a security clearance despite domestic violence.
Zaid wrote, “I’ve gotten clearances for guys who had child porn issues,” which doesn’t look good on the lawyer’s character, especially now that he is representing a “whistleblower” who is a key element used by the Democrats to try and take down President Trump.
In a previous C-SPAN interview, Zaid said a former felon could obtain a security clearance saying, “yes, it would depend on the facts of the case, and there have been many times over the years where I’ve represented individuals who had been convicted of crimes and had served time in prison. And we were still able to get them their security clearance.
It’s unknown at the moment who the client of Zaid was pertaining to child pornography, but his choice in clients is quite telling.
