From October 2021 to 2023, IRS employees collectively owed $50 million in unpaid taxes. Despite this, only 20 employees were terminated, raising questions about accountability within the agency itself.

    Spend money on taxpayers and if the IRS employees aren’t paying their own taxes how dare they pretend to be better than those they go after. Hoping that DOGE actually cuts down on wasteful spending.
