Between 2017 and 2022, the State Department gave $58.7 million to China, including funding for gender equality initiatives using New Yorker cartoons. Critics argue taxpayer money should not be spent abroad in this manner.

    Spend money on taxpayers and if the IRS employees aren’t paying their own taxes how dare they pretend to be better than those they go after. Hoping that DOGE actually cuts down on wasteful spending.
