In stunning rebuke to Dems, Kennedy ends campaign, endorses Trump

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former independent presidential candidate, made a surprise appearance at a rally for former President Donald Trump in Glendale, Arizona, after suspending his campaign and endorsing Trump.

The rally, held at Desert Diamond Arena, saw Trump praising Kennedy as an “incredible champion” for American values and a “highly respected” individual.

“Bobby! Bobby! Bobby!” the crowd chanted as Kennedy took the stage, with Trump noting, “His candidacy has inspired millions and millions of Americans” by addressing crucial issues that have long been ignored in the country.

Kennedy, 70, explained his decision to endorse Trump, pointing out their shared values on issues like food safety and eliminating corporate corruption from regulatory agencies.

“Don’t you want healthy children? And don’t you want the chemicals out of our food?” Kennedy asked the enthusiastic crowd, aligning himself with Trump’s promises of reform.

Trump, in return, declared that Kennedy would have a significant role in his campaign, stating, “Bobby and I will fight together to defeat the corrupt political establishment.”

He also announced a tribute to Kennedy’s family legacy, pledging to establish a commission on assassination attempts that would release all federal records related to the death of Kennedy’s uncle, President John F. Kennedy.

The event highlighted the potential influence Kennedy’s endorsement could have on Trump’s campaign, with supporters expressing optimism about the partnership. Arizona state Sen. Anthony Kern predicted Kennedy’s backing could provide a crucial boost, saying, “That 5-8% is going to help Trump.”
