Jean-Pierre denies reality again, calls Biden gaffe videos ‘cheap fakes’

During a press conference on Monday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre addressed concerns about videos circulating that highlight Joe Biden’s age, gaffes, and recent public awkwardness. Jean-Pierre labeled these videos as “cheap fakes” created in “bad faith.”

Reporters questioned Jean-Pierre on whether the White House was “worried” about Biden’s seemingly peculiar behavior, noting that it appears to be a recurring issue. This follows videos showing former President Barack Obama guiding Biden offstage after he appeared to freeze at a fundraiser, and another where Biden seemed to wander off before being redirected by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Jean-Pierre dismissed the accuracy of these videos and avoided directly addressing Biden’s condition, stating, “Yeah. We, and I think you all have called this the ‘cheap fakes video,’ and that’s exactly what they are. They are cheap fakes video. … They are done in bad faith.”

She elaborated on the Obama video, saying, “Let’s not forget President Obama, [Joe] Biden, have a relationship. They are friends. They’re like family to each other, and I think that’s what you saw.”

Regarding another video criticizing Biden for thanking troops in Europe, Jean-Pierre claimed, “Several recent fakes actually attacked the president for thanking troops. That is what they’re attacking the president for, both in Normandy, where this happened, and again in Italy.”

Jean-Pierre criticized the media for focusing on Biden’s public appearances instead of his legislative achievements, stating, “Instead of talking about [Biden’s] performance in office, and what I mean by that is his legislative wins, what he’s been able to do for the American people across the country, we’re seeing these deep fakes, these manipulated videos, and it is again done in bad faith.”

Biden’s health has been a topic of discussion, as he has been described by Special Counsel Robert Hur as “an elderly man with a poor memory.” According to his annual physical by physician Kevin O’Connor, Biden suffers from atrial fibrillation, peripheral neuropathy in his feet, and hyperlipidemia. These health issues may explain his difficulty remaining upright, as evidenced by multiple falls during his presidency.

To mitigate attention to his physical challenges, Biden has adopted strategies such as walking with multiple aides and using shorter steps to board Air Force One. He also wears specially designed sports shoes for better support.

Public opinion reflects concerns about Biden’s health and fitness for office. A Harvard/Harris poll found that about one-third of Democrats doubt Biden’s mental fitness. Another survey indicated that 82% of Americans have concerns about Biden’s physical and mental health, and a Quinnipiac poll revealed that only about one-third of voters believe Biden is fit to serve a second term.

A good friend and “rocked-ribbed” Republican heard Nella a couple weeks ago at a meet and greet. However she was so put off by Nella’s comments on abortion etc. that she tore up her check!

I’ve tried to contact Nella to clarify these issues but with no luck.

Nella’s entitled to her views but she certainly doesn’t promote such ideas in her advertisements!

    Thank you!
