President Trump’s Former Vice President Mike Pence, in a recent interview, made it clear that he will not be endorsing Donald Trump for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
“It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year,” he said.
This decision stems from a series of disagreements and events that have unfolded since their time in office together, notably surrounding the 2020 election results and the January 6 Capitol incident.
Pence highlighted that his refusal to overturn the 2020 election results, as pressured by Trump, has led to a significant rift between them, culminating in his decision not to support Trump’s bid for re-election.
“During my presidential campaign, I made it clear that there were profound differences between me and President Trump on a range of issues – and not just our difference on my constitutional duties that I exercised on Jan. 6,” Pence said.
Despite his decision, Pence has not indicated support for any other candidate, including Joe Biden, and dismissed the idea of a third-party run, reaffirming his commitment to the Republican party.
His stance places him among a few former 2024 candidates like Nikki Haley and Chris Christie, who have also chosen not to endorse Trump, despite the broader GOP support he has garnered, including endorsements from several of his former primary opponents and a majority of GOP governors and congressional members.

President Trump is far from perfect, as we all are, but at least he pointed America in the right direction. Republicans need to stand up and fight back.
