Anti-Israel protesters blocked Biden’s route to Capitol for State of the Union

Ahead of Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Thursday night, a group of Anti-Israel protesters made their presence felt in Washington, D.C. Approximately 100 individuals congregated at Constitution Avenue and 3rd Street, approximately an hour before he was slated to speak, brandishing signs and voicing their dissent.

One notable banner declared, “Biden’s legacy is genocide,” capturing the protesters’ strong opposition to the regime’s policies.

The gathering saw participants donning face masks for anonymity as they took to the streets, momentarily disrupting the usual flow of the area. The demonstration did not lead to any immediate arrests, as confirmed by the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, which kept a vigilant eye on the situation.

This protest wasn’t an isolated incident, as another similar demonstration had occurred earlier in Lafayette Square, resulting in one individual being apprehended for reckless driving.

These protests underscore a growing discord within the Democrat base, with an increasing number of activists urging Joe Biden to advocate for a ceasefire in Gaza after Hamas terrorists attacked Israel in October in an unprovoked act of war.

This internal strife is reflected in recent polling data from Fox News, which indicates a significant uptick in Democrat opposition to Israel, marking a notable shift in sentiment within the party.
