These Trump allies at Fox News fear Murdoch is coming for them next

After firebrand former Fox News host Tucker Carlson of Tucker Carlson Tonight was fired from the network owned by Rupert Murdoch, allies of 45th President Donald Trump are telling friends they are likely next to go from the network, according to Rolling Stone.

“Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro, two longtime hosts and Donald Trump allies, have told friends they’re concerned they could be sacked next, according to two sources familiar with the situation,” the report notes.

The outlet reported that Pirro, who is a co-host of The Five and formerly had a hit Fox News Show, Justice With Judge Jeanine, is “telling confidants she’s worried she’ll be shown the door, according to one of the people familiar with the situation.

It also noted that Fox News “executives have recently held high-level discussions about Fox Business host Bartiromo’s future at the company.”

There are also reports of a toxic environment among the staff, with executives sending “snitches” to see which staff members may have been speaking to the press about Carlson’s surprise ouster from his hit show.

Since Tucker Carlson’s abrupt departure, Fox News’ 8:00 p.m. slot, which he previously hosted, has tanked 56 percent in viewers, with interim host Brian Kilmeade bombing with only 1.33 million viewers Wednesday versus Carlson’s previous audience hovering around three million.

Tucker Carlson has been getting generous offers for his next big move, with Newsmax offering not only a cushy salary but oversight of the entire channel, which has seen an uptick in viewers since the famed host’s ouster at Fox News, according to TMZ
