Here’s who AOC thinks is the ‘weaker’ 2024 GOP candidate

Socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) gave an interview to Jen Psaki on MSNBC, where she revealed who she thinks is the “weaker” 2024 Republican candidate and who she thinks really leads the GOP in the U.S. House.

She told the former Biden White House press secretary when asked about the 2024 contest that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), who has not yet announced a presidential run, is “weaker.”

“I think that Governor DeSantis has made some very large critical errors. And I think he’s weaker,” she disclosed.

“You can’t out Trump, Trump, right?” adding, “And that’s what he has really been trying to do. He may be trying to win a base, but that base belongs to Donald Trump.”

“He has sacrificed, I think, the one thing that others may have thought would make him competitive, which is this idea that he would somehow be more rational than Donald Trump, which he isn’t,” she concluded.

She also told Psaki in the same interview that she didn’t think House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is truly running the GOP House caucus.

“He’s not. I think you’ve got Marjorie Taylor Greene running the caucus…Every time something irks her, she communicates that McCarthy is doing her bidding,” she said.
