On Monday, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene announced the passing of her father, who succumbed to Melanoma cancer on Sunday after a hard-fought battle with the disease.
Read the Congresswoman’s touching tribute to her father:
My father passed away last night after a hard fought battle over the past 3 months with Melanoma.
Most people don’t know how tremendously difficult my first three months of Congress have been.
While I have endured the flaming arrows fired daily at me while I have been fighting against the left’s war on our freedoms in Congress, my soul was torn apart watching my Daddy suffer and slowly die with cancer.
We don’t win every battle we fight, but my amazing father won the war, and he taught me how to withstand the greatest enemy.
My Dad was the forgotten American man that President Trump worked so hard for.
My Dad grew up with very little, but with a faith in God and dreamed the Great American Dream.
He worked every job from riding a bike delivering newspapers, to factory work, to construction work, and all in between, while trying to go to school.
He was drafted at age 20 to go to war in Vietnam and served our country in the Navy. He lost friends just like many did.
He met a girl after his service, when he went back to college, married my Mom, and had a little girl named Marjorie.
He couldn’t finish school, but proudly went to work to support his family.
With only a truck and a ladder, he tirelessly worked and eventually built a thriving construction company that put a roof over our heads, fed us, clothed us, and Dad provided our families every need.
My Dad had the strongest hands I’ve ever known.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is well-known for her undying support for President Trump in Congress and her outspoken conservative stance on many controversial issues. She just announced that her campaign had raised a record $3.2 million in the First Quarter of the year, an outpouring of support for her America First message.
Marjorie
Thank you for the tribute to your Father. A t my age, 87, my Dad was like yours…a dedicated hard worker and a great American. He didn’t serve in the Military but he did work on the railroad all of WWII on Troop Trains in N.C.
All of my uncles served in WWII.
Thank you for serving in Congress with one of the last voices for the working class. Seems the left has taken over with nothing but money and greed and of course, power. They have sold out our American dream for our grandchildren.
Please keep working with the Republicans to represent those of us who have either no one on our side, or the ones we have are only interested in profit from serving in Congress/Senate-Richard Burr. We can’t ask him to retire early because we can’t lose that Senate Seat.
Prayers with you.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sadness. I’m sure your Dad was very proud of you, as many of us do also.
There was a song titled “Daddy’s Hands” that I’m sure you would love. Hope you can find a copy of it.
My prayers and sympathy go out to you and your family. It seems that you’ve been carrying a heavy load, and for that I’m so sorry. Hang in there sweetheart. The best is yet to come.

Prayers for you and your family! Apparently you are like your father, a fighter!
Keep up the good work!!!! You are so loved by people not in your voting district!!!! So sorry for your huge loss!
May God sustain you and your family. You have been a target from day one and have fought valiantly. I cannot imagine the pain you were experiencing as you fought, not being able to be there with your dad. May you feel God’s unexplainable peace now and throughout your term in office. I pray that you will be able to accomplish those things you work so faithfully for, to help us save America! God bless you and America!
