On Friday, Twitter suspended pro-Trump Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) account. Taylor Greene is currently facing calls by fringe far-left Democrats (not Dem party leaders) to be expelled, but she has refused to be silenced and give into calls from the extremist Woke Mob. Nancy Pelosi says expulsion is “not a leadership position,” meaning it is not supported by her, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), or Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC).
However, Twitter reinstated Congresswoman Taylor Greene’s account, citing a “mistake.”
“In this case, our automated systems took enforcement action on the account referenced in error,” a statement from the social media platform said. “This action has been reversed, and access to the account has been reinstated.”
Later on Twitter, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene blasted the Big Tech giant, writing, “I was just told @Twitter suspended me for 12 hrs in ‘error,’ on the same day Dems introduced a resolution to expel me from Congress. What a coincidence? Twitter’s little error wasn’t resolved until after 12 hrs. @jack which employee made the ‘error?’ Reply to my email, Jack”
Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter has apparently not responded.
Rep. Jimmy Gomez on Friday morning said on the House floor that “I believe some of my Republican colleagues, and one in particular, wish harm upon this legislative body.”
“I’m not saying this for shock value,” Gomez said. “It’s the conclusion I drew after a member of Congress advocated violence against our peers, the speaker and our government.”
Previously Gomez filed a motion to try to expel Rep. Taylor Greene from the House of Representatives.
