On Wednesday, while addressing the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in a pre-recorded message, President Donald Trump announced that he will sign an executive order protecting infants who survive failed abortion attempts, giving them basic medical care.
“Today I am announcing that I will be signing the Born-Alive Executive Order to ensure that all precious babies born alive, no matter their circumstances, receive the medical care that they deserve. This is our sacrosanct moral duty,” said the President.
The U.S. House of Representatives has refused to act on the Born-Alive bill proposed by Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO), which has bipartisan support. The discharge petition to force a vote on the measure is still shy of 13 signatures in the House, while the Senate version of the bill has been approved.
39 Democrat and two Independent senators voted “no” on the bill giving basic medical care to babies born alive.
Trump also announced that his administration would be “increasing federal funding for neonatal research, to ensure that every child has the very best chance to thrive and to grow.” The move comes as Trump is slated to announce his Supreme Court nominee to fill the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat. All of the nominees on his list are committed textualist judges who will uphold the Sanctity of Life.
The executive order text has not yet been released, but it is likely to mirror the text of the legislation brought forth in front of Congress.
This is good news that President Trump has taken the initiative to protect the innocent, defenseless, voiceless unborn human baby while COTUS has bent their knees to worship at the altar of Molech and Baal represented by Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and pro-abortion groups.
does his executive order protect the fetus and stop partial birth abortion?
Those babies were sent here through the parents by God, and no one has the right to kill them, including the parents. Give them to the state to place with loving humans. Jesus loves these precious children and warns punishment to those who abuse, harm, murder them.
