On Saturday Morning, Fox News asked Joe Biden if he has picked a running mate yet as they caught him riding by on a bicycle in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The former vice president was wearing a mask while riding his bicycle and was joined by a few other people also riding bicycles.
When asked who he’d chosen as his running mate, he quipped, “you” at the reporter, apparently in the attempt to make a joke.
Quickly after the former vice president made the comment, his national press secretary TJ Ducklo claimed the comment was “clearly a joke,” and he has not made a decision of who his running mate will be.
Biden’s vice-presidential picks include Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA), Rep. Val Demings (D-FL), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), former National Security Adviser under President Obama Susan Rice, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, among a few others. According to PredictIt.org, Harris is in the lead, followed by Rice and Whitmer.
