Pelosi nukes vital bipartisan COVID-19 relief bill so Dems can pack it with partisan ‘goodies’

On Sunday evening, during President Trump’s press conference with his Coronavirus taskforce, Democrats blocked a bill that would provide $1.8 trillion in relief to businesses and give $1,200 checks to individuals to lessen the burden of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The New York Times reports, ““The 47-47 vote was a stunning setback for a package that was emerging as the largest economic stimulus measure in modern American history – now expected to cost $1.8 trillion or more.”

But according to Guy Benson of TownHall, The bipartisan bill had been nuked so her caucus could add partisan “goodies” to it, effectively leaving thousands without the necessary relief they need and in many cases, causing pain in thousands of American lives.

After the stunt, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blasted Pelosi for her partisan games with the American peoples’ wellbeing. He said in a floor speech, “Our good friends on the other side would not have been disadvantaged one bit if this vote had succeeded because it would have required potentially 30 more hours of discussion, during which these seemingly endless negotiations could go on as long as they would like.”

  1. Nancy Pelousy and her caucus are the political mafia of our times. They need to be stopped. I am calling on everyone to call these idiots and set their head straight.

  2. Nancy Pelosi is a VIRUS that has to be evacuated from the government body, along with all the 47 Democrats who voted against this bill. And we the people should have the any Democrat that adds pork to a bill intended to help people, prosecuted and imprisoned for fraud!
