Hillary Clinton claims Trump didn’t act quick enough on COVID-19 despite early actions in January

On Sunday, America’s wannabe commander-in-chief Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to blast Trump for supposedly not acting quick enough to the Chinese Wuhan Coronavirus pandemic despite his early actions.

Clinton’s tweet reads, “The Trump administration was told in January that coronavirus was likely to become a pandemic. They refused to act for fear of spooking the markets, losing weeks of time to prepare that we won’t get back.”

As reported by the New York Times on January 31, President Trump restricted Chinese immigration to the United States almost immediately after hearing the report of the dangerous pandemic, disproving Clinton’s baseless claim that Trump didn’t act fast enough.

Also, as reported by Politico on February 3, President Trump instructed Health and Human Services Secretary to declare a public health emergency, a mandatory 14-day quarantine from U.S. citizens returning from China, approving housing for coronavirus evacuees, and Azar having intensive meetings with world leaders on a coordinated response to the deadly crisis.

Clinton’s sad excuse for a response should be rebuked by all, especially as our country must stick together to battle the Chinese Wuhan Coronavirus.
