On Thursday, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) dropped out of the 2020 Democrat primary for president, throwing her support behind former Vice President Joe Biden.
“After Tuesday’s primary results, it is clear that Democratic Primary voters have chosen Vice President Joe Biden to be the person who will take on President Trump in the general election,” Gabbard said in a video statement. “Today, I’m suspending my presidential campaign, and offering my full support to Vice President Joe Biden in his quest to bring our country together.”
2016 Democrat nominee for president Hillary Clinton claimed Gabbard is a “Russian asset,” leading the Hawaii congresswoman to sue Clinton for defamation.
