On Wednesday, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) gave some unexpected praise to President Trump and his response to the Chinese Wuhan Coronavirus, saying his actions are “incredible” and “the right response.”
The comment came in response to a tweet by journalist Lee Fang for the far-left publication The Intercept, who wrote, “Trump suspending mortgage foreclosures, demanding cash payments to Americans, now invoking the Defense Production Act to force private firms to produce needed supplies is incredible. Kind of a shell shock for anyone who reported on any economic policies in the Obama years.”
Omar’s surprise response shows how both sides of the aisle are praising President Trump’s response to the Coronavirus.
