One day after Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar drops out of Democrat primary for president

On Monday, 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) made the announcement that she is dropping out of the race. The announcement comes one day after former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg announced he was also suspending his campaign.

NBC News reports that she will fly to Dallas later on Monday to endorse former Vice President Joe Biden at a rally.

Klobuchar tried to brand herself as a “moderate” candidate on the campaign trail, rejecting socialist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ full government takeover of health care, however, she supports abortion up-to-birth and “climate change” policy.

This is a developing story.
