Steyer compares Trump’s handling of coronavirus to killer Hurricane Katrina despite no US deaths

On Thursday, billionaire presidential candidate Tom Steyer joined the far-left radio host Dean Obeidallah to talk about his campaign and the news of the coronavirus, which has rocked the stock markets.

Steyer bashed President Trump for his handling of the virus, saying, “Trump is incompetent. He is doing a terrible job on this.”

On Thursday, Trump appointed Vice President Mike Pence to take the lead on the handling of the virus. “This is a huge deal and he’s turning it over to Mike Pence?” Steyer asked. “I can’t be more scared.”

He then appeared to compare Trump’s handling of the virus outbreak (which has claimed no U.S. lives), to Bush’s handling of Hurricane Katrina.

“I think this a huge, huge, deal because this is like George W. Bush with the hurricane and flooding down in New Orleans,” he stated. “It’s a total executive failure by an incompetent executive.”

The bashing of the President comes after the discredited New York Times published an op-ed called “Let’s Call it Trumpvirus,” which blamed the Commander in Chief for the virus.
