Libs call for blood after Chris Mathews compares Bernie’s NV win to France’s 1940 fall to the Nazis

On Saturday, MSNBC’s Chris Mathews compared Bernie Sanders’ win in Nevada to the fall of France to the Nazis in 1940.

Wallace said, “It looks like Bernie Sanders is hard to beat… I think it’s a little late to stop him, and that’s the problem. It’s pretty much over unless that changes.”

Mathews continued, “I’m reading last night about the fall of France in the summer of 1940. And the general calls up Churchill and says, ‘It’s over,’” Mathews said. “And Churchill says, ‘How can it be? You got the greatest army in Europe. How can it be over?’ He said, ‘It’s over.’”

Shortly thereafter, triggered Bernie supporters took to Twitter, crying over Mathews’ comment, demanding he resign or be fired by the network for the comment. The hashtag “#FireChrisMathews” lit up Twitter after the remark.

Despite the stark similarities to Sanders’ win and the fall of France to Nazis, it appears the radical Left is looking for blood despite Mathews’ long-time leftist “progressive” record on the network.
